I received a great news this week. Home Cooking of the World project was accepted to participate in fiscal sponsorship program of New York Foundation for the Arts. It means that Home Cooking of the World will get a status of nonprofit organization, and I can apply for grants based on the status.
Getting under a large nonprofit organization and receive the benefits of the status is practical way to start activities of nonprofit in nature. As a matter of fact, I still don't have board members, fundings, and established projects to get 501c3 from IRS.
I still have to apply and win grants, in order to get funded. I am ready now, and excited to go through everything in order to make this project work.
